May Platform Updates – what you need to know

We are pleased to announce the latest round of platform updates from Ruby Datum. This includes manual redaction, which we have been asked about since Q4 last year and are very happy to have implemented:

We have also introduced “form snips”, as an easy way to instantly edit folder, document, site or question fields from the table view. This includes any custom fields:

In addition, we have released the following platform updates:

  • Added document redaction
  • Overhauled form styling to make more aesthetically pleasing and easier to use
  • Overhauled login screen design to incorporate more client branding
  • Added new “form snips” feature to allow user to instantly update fields from the table view
  • Merged Folder and Document custom fields into one section within settings
  • Added User List and Group List as custom fields
  • Added “Default” to custom fields so all users will see the field as a column in Documents/Q&A/Site listings.
  • Added right click option to custom fields to add field to all existing users on the site
  • Added random password generator icon next to the password field
  • Added “copy password” button for Administrators when resetting a user’s password (in case the user is not receiving via email)
  • Improved usability of numbering feature
  • Improved activation of users to make approval of accounts much clearer
  • Various minor bug fixes and performance improvements
